Lisa Eli, PhD, is Chief Scientific Officer at Zephyr AI, where she leads the company’s translational science, clinical research, and computational biology teams. A recognized leader in precision oncology, Dr. Eli is focused on leveraging AI, multimodal data, and clinical insights to accelerate drug development and advance precision medicine.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning translational research, diagnostics, biomarker development, and oncology drug development, Dr. Eli has contributed to significant advances in precision cancer care. Prior to joining Zephyr AI, she founded Eli Precision Oncology, LLC, advising biotechnology companies on biomarker driven clinical development strategies.

Previously, Dr. Eli served as Vice President of Translational Medicine and Diagnostics at Puma Biotechnology, where she led translational and clinical biomarker efforts, with special emphasis on the SUMMIT basket trial of neratinib (Nerlynx®) in HER2-mutant cancers. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at N-of-One and Monogram Biosciences, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative precision diagnostics. Dr. Eli serves as an advisor to Stanford University’s SPARK Translational Research Program and previously served on the California Breast Cancer Research Council. She earned her PhD in Biochemistry from Stanford University and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF.
